The Landlord Accreditation Wales scheme is a skills based scheme.

There is no guarantee that a Council officer has inspected a property and confirmed its suitability for renting. The information on accredited landlords, agents and their properties is for information only. The scheme operator makes neither representation nor warrants and no warranty shall be implied that the scheme operator has inspected, approved or in any way endorsed any particular property owned or managed by a landlord or agent part of the scheme. The scheme only highlights landlords and agents who have taken a proactive approach to their housing management, by successfully completing a one day development course, declaring they are ‘fit and proper’ and agreeing to follow the scheme’s code of conduct.

The scheme and its’ partner Councils cannot become involved in any dispute between the property owner/landlord or agent and any tenants. Neither the scheme, nor any of the partner Councils can be held liable in any respect should you decide to choose an accredited landlord or agent.
