This scheme is a joint initiative between the Private Sector Housing/Environmental Health Services from each of the 22 Local Authorities in Wales, and is supported by the Welsh Assembly Government.
In light of all the recent changes that have affected the rules and regulations concerning the Private Rented Sector, the Local Authorities in Wales decided the time was ripe to devise a Landlord Accreditation scheme that didn’t concentrate on property standards, but rather standards of knowledge and professionalism within the sector.
